I have not found that face Id is a huge issue. I got an XS on Friday and have
had no problems as a totally blind user of it, even with attention mode turned
on. If it is troublesome, it's very easy to enter your pass code.

Hi A friend and I open the messages pn the home screen.
And I go to compoz and then when the two field comes up O put in his contact
information to message him.
Once I have done that I go do to record audio and then record my message.
Well he does the same thing to reply to me.

I tried to use the braille screen input for the first time
since installing IOS 12.
It definitely has problems. When touching the spot for dot 1
or dot 2 it always says "a". I can't get it to announce comma
at all.
I use Braille Input on a regular basis in away mode and have not had any
problems after updating to iOS 12.
Have you tried recalibrating the keyboard?

Make sure you are in notification center before doing the 3 finger swipe left.
you should hear VO say Today.

Well, I just did a reset of network settings because it was the easier of the
various options I thought I had. I’ll give it a few days and see if it makes a
difference. The problem has been occurring frequently enough that I should know
after a couple of days if the reset has worked. Thanks for
