just an app from the app store. there are crafted emails, coded websites and
even text messages that can lead to an infected device. Your best bet is to
research the applications carefully before downloading. as for

isolate it from the cell network.

I seem to be running into some trouble here. to begin with, I can't access many
of the controls on the Facebook site using my current OS X machine. its running
Lion and the concurrent build of safari for that version.
I tried going to the mobile version of the site and there are
there is an easy solution. I would simply erase those specific apps and then
reinstall from the app store purchases page. check the button for "not on this
iPhone/device" and it should highlight those items. install as normal and you
should be good to go.
