Hi. I agree, I hate when people say so in such device should be able to handle something, when there's obviously a discrepancy between 32-bit and 64-bit devices. I tested off-line dictation on an iPad air two, and it wasn't available, which obviously means it needs the 64-bit processor

I think the thing people are missing here is that it doesn't work in all markets. It's not available where I am in New Zealand, but based oN David Woodbridge's podcast, he has it in Australia. It's certainly available in the US. So if dictation doesn't work for you when you turn Airplane mode

I just googled offline dictation in ios, and everything I read said it was only available in the 6s or 6s plus models and that it is not enabled by default. You have to go into the Settings, General, Keyboard, and download the offline dictation files and that is only available for English
