Annie,
I do know this for certain, but back will not work on the highest setting of
your router. now, whether they will change this in the future, or, how easy it
would be for you to change the setting yourself when needed, I don't know.

Hi Sandra.
Yes I would love one of these vacuum cleaners, I need sighted assistance for
vacuum cleaning, and if that could be saved sometimes, it could mean a little
more freedom to me. My only problem now is if I would get in trouble with all
my 5 ghz attached items. The 2.4 ghz is not
Annie,
If your router is set to the 2.4, you should be good to go! You could always

Hi Sandra.
I have cheked it, it uses the 2,4 ghz standard. I am a little in doubt if that
can give me problems. My router supports both the 2,4 and 5 ghz, but I am in
doubt if I will need to change network to the speciffic 2,4 when I need to use
the vacuum cleaner? With sonos I can use my
Hi Sandra.
Ok thank you. Ok it is as it is. I am happy that I did not just buy it and
afterwards could not get it set up. Maybe the brand new talking goggles can be
of some help.
Cheers Annie.

Annie,
OK! I have just taken a much closer look at the touch screen on the BotVac
Connected. I had my, very impatient, partner look over my shoulder. Firstly, I
discovered that it isn't a touch screen at all! The screen, whichis about 3
inches/8 cm would that be? square, is only a display.
Annie,
As things stand, at the moment, we do need sighted assistance to set up the
wifi. The person doesn't need to be tech savvy, but the touch screen is not at
all accessible.
I would estimate, so long as your router is using the 250 and not the 500
channel, (Annie, I probably have
Hi Sandra and all.
I am concidering buying one of these vacuum cleaners, but can we connect it to
the wifi the first time or do that require sighted assistance? I do not have
any sighted assistance, so it would be important for me that I can connect it
myself.
Best regards Annie.

I wonder how it will do under the computer desks or tables where they may be

Just thought I would give a little update on my first day with the Bot vac.
There were a few hiccups along the way but we got it done. I still have
trouble getting it to resume on it's own after getting stuck but from what
you said, I may be moving it too much. But even though it took some time

Marie,
The left button does the spot clean. As for it getting stuck, I have only
had mine stuck twice, that I can remember, in both cases, I just moved the
Bot just enough to free it and left it. After about 30 seconds
me. Thanks,

Okay, I got the vac connected to the internet. This morning I started
now? I tried the Be My Eyes and she said she could not read the
screen.
And by the way, what does the left button do?
Thanks. Marie

Well I think you might have underestimated the ease of getting connected to

complete the process with the app. I got through all the steps up to waiting
the 3 minutes for it to connect. At the end of that, I got the
