Agreed! I was a teacher for many years and can attest to the fact that
most of the students today come from less than ideal home situations. Earlier
in my career when writing to parents it was customary to address letters
to ' Mr. and Mrs. ...' but that soon changed. I

comments regarding TVLand. Altho' I watch TVLand at times, I always MUTE the
commercials. In my area it is the only station that shows TAGS. Although
they have some unsavory new shows, they also bring us 'Walker, Texas
TAGS tonight! 6:22pm through 9:24pm. TVLand eastern time.

Speaking of commercials (on TVLand), I love to see the commercials on the TAGS
DVD's from the '60s. Takes you back when the stars did the commercials
themselves.
Not long ago, a local TV station replaced their daily broadcast of TAGS with
the Nate Berkus Show. (Who's Nate Berkus?) Anyway, they brought
I too sometimes watch Andy on TVLand but it distresses me when they insert
ads for their own shows and nasty language. I have written to them to ask
that they stop this but no answer yet. It just almost ruins the whole
experience and I will sometimes change the channel when the ads come

butchered their TAGS reruns as they have Bewitched. The bad news, of course, is
that they continue to slice dice every TAGS episode with no respect for

With all the talk here recently of Tvland taking Andy off in the evenings, I
thought maybe I could round up some TAGS fans to sign a request on the TVland
to boards to bring back The Andy Griffith Show (along with Leave it to Beaver)
to weekday evenings. Tvland took our beloved Andy off

computer-illiterate) so hope it helps. As for Andy's long-sleeves, it
took years for me to convince my beloved otherwise; it was due to his years
on the farm and in the Navy, where they just rolled them up in warm weather.

Does anyone know when TAGS is being aired on the Roseanne Network, aka TV Land?
I'm trying not to violate rule no. 2, but I'm looking for TAGS and can't find
it any more. I only can find Roseanne, Married with Children or She's Got the
Look. I agree that TV Land has been a good friend to TAGS

The awards show was taped three days before, on the 19th
The show had another great opening with lots of old faces coming out of
the woodwork, but beyond that was not as good as past shows. Of course I
think my bias opinion was due to the lack of TAGS recognitions, lol.

The schedule for this weekend's Tribute to Don Knotts on TVLand is
available on their website TVLand.com.
Seems they will be showing TAGS episodes, then some Three's Company,
then finishing the tribute late (into overnight) Sunday-Monday with
more TAGS.
