Hi Alex and all,
We should rationalize our calls to subroutine grid2deg() to make them
acceptable to the increasingly fussy versions of gfortran. This will
not be done in time for WSJT-X 2.5.4, which will be released very soon,
but probably in the next release after that.

Hi Ton,
The crash you observed is caused by setting Rx frequency to a value so
high that the highest tone of the mode in use would be above 5000 Hz.
In general, WSJT-X is designed to work with maximum Rx passbands up to
5000 Hz, but not beyond. Best to stay within that limit.

Hi all,
If you have seen a bug that can cause WSJT-X 2.5.3 to crash when
callsigns like W9YOY/M or K0VQM/4 are involved, please help us to

Hi Dave,
The simple answer is that when designing our 77-bit message payload we
chose to implement support for a few contests particularly relevant to
the WSJT-X modes.
WSJT and its sister programs were motivated for VHF/UHF weak-signal work
and have had a strong VHF+ influence from the

There is no problem using WSJT-X v2.4.0-rc1 under macOS. Many are doing
so; all needed instructions have been posted on this reflector. If you
need help, just ask.
Release candidates are published and updated when they are ready. At
this stage of development we can't predict

Hasan, I’m sorry, but I totally disagree. Configurations are there to

Hi Dave,
I don't think you have sent us any .wav files for EME QSOs on 6 meters.
It would be very useful to have some indication of your on-the-air
experience with Q65 for 6m EME.
Have you at least studied the example files for 6m EME mentioned in the

Decode starts when it's suppose to start.
Evidently you are trying one of the 60-second submodes.

The fourth public candidate release of WSJT-X 2.3.0 is now available for
download and use by beta testers. Changes from the third release

Hi Gene,
I'm not sure whether someone else has looked into your reported issue.
I have, and did not "fix" anything because I could not reproduce your
problem.
Instead of clicking Tune a second time to stop your Tune cycle, have you
tried clicking Halt? FWIW, either one works as expected
