RESULTS OF CEDEM PUBLIC OPINION RESEARCHES 
MAJORITY FOR INDEPENDENCE

PODGORICA- According to 37,2 % of citizens, Montenegro as an
independence and internationally recognized state is the best model for
future relations with Serbia. For federation of Serbia and Montenegro as
the two equal republics would vote 32,7 %-  the latest public opinion
researches done by the Center for democracy and human rights (CEDEM) and
the agency "Damar" confirmed.
 
As researches showed 11,2 % of citizens prefer an alliance of the two
independent and internationally recognized states Montenegro and Serbia,
while 6,7 % would vote for a unitary state. For an alliance of states-
confederation, with one chair in the UN, 4,6 % would vote.

If the question at the referendum would be: "Do you vote for independent
and internationally recognized Montenegro? ", 46, 7 % of citizens would
circle Yes, while 41, 9 % would choose No as an answer. 

The Montenegrin government has been assessed as the mostly respected
institution in Montenegro and among politicians Montenegrin president
Milo Djukanovic is at the top.


MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT VISITED PLJEVLJA
POLITICAL SECURITY SITUATION HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER 

PODGORICA- Political security situation in Montenegro has never been
better for the last ten years-  Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic
assessed during his visit to Pljevlja.

President Djukanovic pointed out that the Coalition "Together for
Yugoslavia" constantly promoted idea of possible instability in
Montenegro, since this coalition can not face with democratic outcome of
future state legal status in the Republic.

Djukanovic emphasized that there would be local and presidents'
elections in Montenegro, in 2002. and that, at the end of a dialog with
Serbia, referendum would be held, by the end of April or in the first
half of May.

 
EU FINANCES PROJECTS IN MONTENEGRO
TO MONTENEGRO EUROS 45 MILLION  

PODGORICA- The European Union (EU) is going to finance, projects of
reforms implementation, economy and state legal structure renewal in
Montenegro, offering Euros 45 million as an aid to Montenegro.

These financial means would be invested primarily in economic
development, supply of credits and in the Montenegrin privatization
sector.  
AT TOURISM EXHIBITION IN STUTTGART
PROGRAMS SALE STARTED WELL

POGORICA- After ten years of delay, there has been expressed a great
interest of German tourists in vacating at the Montenegrin Coast this
summer- it has been confirmed at the tourist exhibition, these days in
Stuttgart.

Montenegrin tourist arrangements have also been promoted in the summer
2002.catalogues of well-known tour-operators, at the exhibition in
Stuttgart, where is Montenegro once again confirmed as a very attractive
tourist destination.

CEDEM PREDSTAVIO REZULTATE ISTRAZIVANJA JAVNOG MNJENJA
VECINA ZA NEZAVISNOST

PODGORICA- Prema misljenju 37,2 odsto gradjana, Crna Gora kao nezavisna
i medjunarodno priznata drzava je najbolji model uredjenja odnosa sa
Srbijom. Za federaciju Srbije i Crne Gore kao dvije ravnopravne
republike glasalo bi 32,7 odsto gradjana.- potvrdjuju najnovija
istrazivanja javnog mnjenja koje su sproveli Centar za demokratiju i
ljudska prava (CEDEM) i agencija "Damar".

Prema istim istrazivanjima 11,2 odsto gradjana izjasnilo se za savez
samostalnih i medjunarodno priznatih drzava Crne Gore i Srbije, a za
unitarnu drzavu 6,7 odsto. Za savez drzava-konfederaciju, sa jednom
stolicom u UN glasalo bi 4,6 odsto gradjana. 

Ukoliko bi referndumsko pitanje glasilo : "da li ste za nezavisnu i
medjunarodno priznatu Crnu Goru?", ZA bi glasalo 46,7 odsto gradjana, a
PROTIV 41,9 odsto. 

Na pitanje koja od navedenih institucija uziva najvece povjerenje, za
Vladu Crne Gore izjasnio se najveci broj anketiranih, a medju
politicarima najvecu ocjenu dobio je predsjednik Crne Gore Milo
Djukanovic.

PODGORICA- Politicko bezbjednosna situacija u Crnoj Gori nije nikada
bila bolja u posljednjih deset godina- ocijenio je Predsjednik Crne Gore
Milo Djukanovic prilikom posjete Pljivljima. 

Predsjednik Djukanovic je istakao da Koalicija "Zajedno za Jugoslaviju"
konstantno propagira mogucnost nestabilnosti u Crnoj Gori u strahu od
demokratskog ishoda u pogledu razrjesenja drzavno pravnog statusa u
Republici.

Djukanovic je naglasio da su izvjesni lokalni i predsjednicki izbori u
Crnoj Gori, u 2002.godini i da ce na kraju dijaloga sa Srbijom biti
neminovan referenudm krajem aprila ili u prvoj polovini maja.

razvitka, obezbjedejnje kreditnih linija i privatizaciju u Crnoj Gori.

PRODAJA PROGRAMA DOBRO POCELA

PODGORICA- Nakon zastoja u proteklih deset godina , interesovanje
njemackih turista za ljetovanje na crnogorskom primorju posebno je
pojacano- potvrdjeno je na medjunarodnom sajmu turizma koji se ovih dana
odrzava u Stutgartu.

U katalozima za ljeto 2002.godine poznatih turoperatera nalazi se i
ponuda Crne Gore, za koju vlada veliko interesovanje.
