USB burners are usually reasonably stable. I can't say I've ever made 
more than a normal amount of coasters on one, but don't burn higher 
than 2x. 4x can be done, but it is pushing the envelope. You shouldn't 
have any problem with 1x speed burning, unless you have something 
taking up to much processor time in the background (push button polling 
for my UMAX scanner comes to mind, talk about crap!) The upgrade to 9.1 
is recommended, it always worked better for me than 9.0.x did, and it's 
a free upgrade, you just have to go through the pain of downloading it.
