You know, now that I think about it, the CD burner hasn't really worked since I reinstalled my UMAX scanner drivers (including the push button!). Could this be the culprit? What is "push button polling"? All I know is that just as I think the computer has booted, something called Push Button starts to load and takes a few extra seconds (always feels like minutes). How can I get rid of this. It doesn't seem to be a program running under the Application Menu. Would it be turn-offable in Extension Manager? Thanks for the tip! I do have the 9.1 upgrade.
