Ah ! Confusion , ... let me count the ways (to infinity) .

First of all , which version of RS are you using ? Are you
& Frank still on the 6.01.04 demo ? The rest are on 6.01.03 .

No , it doesn't . You show a screen capture for Analytic map-
ping ! The problem being faced is "Realtime for SDS" .

Also , the true test for realtime mapping is to "turn off"
all realtime lights after the maps are created . With the
Lights 'OFF' , now you will see just exactly what RS has
created for realtime viewing (unless this is a bug also ?)

Turn 'Lights-Off' for your project and the SDS mushroom
appears to have been on the shelf far too long , yet the
Analytic Rectangle is perfectly mapped in Realtime OGL .

You say 'Do Not Forget Ambient Light' , but why ? Is this
your workaround method for certain bugs , in some ways ?

Your VSL coding also shows , unmentioned workaround methods
that are fully required to get this broken motor to run .

More importantly , if we use 'UV-Image Tool' and 'Surface
Shading' (like in your .gif) the result is _NOT_ nice folders
with the SDS Object and the Mapping Objects included there ,
default mapped to the SDS object (well , of course not) .

So how did you arrive there ? The .gif shows bad clues and you
do not mention if you used the 'Map2Object Tool' , or why the
VSL needs to be that way . A 3D puzzle within a 3D puzzle .

My experiments with SDS & the UVimage Tool (& Realtime Viewing
in general) show RS to be broken here , but you attempt to show
an end result that seemingly , (somehow) works just fine .

How ? (and why?) .

  Bugs are bugs , let's find/fix them . Let's update the Manual
to show exactly how things _should_ and can_ work so that new
users do not have to rely on advanced user's workaround methods
in order to do basic , elementary 3D stuff .

Furthermore , lets finally leave the realm of 3D Puzzle Lovers
(who live to find workarounds) and enter the world of 3D Creators
who love to create with intuitive , powerful , 3D animation S/W .

Anyway , thanks for your obvious efforts .
