Coleman stopped production of furnaces nearly 20 years ago and does not
support them any longer. Some aftermarket suppliers can get a few parts
for them, but not much. No furnace manufacturer past or present would
recommend using a furnace that old. That's the main reason most service
shops won't work on them.
It is strongly recommended that anyone using a furnace more than about
20 years old have a CO detector in the coach.
The furnace in the Bambi was an old convection style with no blower.
Manufacturers decided a long time ago there were too many problems with
that much heat in one place without a fan to move the air and stopped
making them. Catalytic and ceramic heater's do not generate nearly as
much heat and are safer to operate.

Hey people,

There is a custom made 1960 Airstream on ebay. The longest model that year
was the Soverign at 30 feet. This one is 33 feet in length! Item #
1854289405.

During the "California Winter" I head to southern Baja to avoid any =
chance of freezes. I don't usually take my Airstream but now that I've =
made it lean and mean I just might.

Do the Suburban heaters take care of the pipes in the underbelly? =
I don't think you need to worry about an occasional frost when your =
traveling. Just leave one sink dripping to keep the water moving. =
Freezing pipes are more the problem in severe weather especially when =
the vehicle is not habitated.
I really don't like the noise of the forced air heaters. I don't =
like the draw they make on electrical systems. In any event I don't =
plan any extended trips into colder climes. I do like it when it's 80F. =
during the day and 55F. at night.

Sunshine brother Cruiser Bob has replaced his Suburban (Heater, not to =

Although we are moving to southern climes, how does this affect H2O =
freezing in the under bath space??=20
