[XC] Blue Hills Trail report

Blue Hills Trail update...

Thursday's 4+ inches of fluffy snow were packed (rolled) Friday, February 1.  Enough snow was available to extend the striding track to a larger loop on the EastSideTrail.  This produced fair to very good conditions Saturday (February 2) skiing packed powder with temperatures near 20 degrees F.  Despite the limited seasonal snowfall, most trail sections have adequate base.  In many areas you can ski full out; some areas still have thin cover requiring a slower rate of travel.
