I'm the author of that website (ilovenix.com) linked above. I'm curious as to why it didnt work for you. That transform code should always work if you dont want to modify source code.
My only thought is maybe the problem lies not with eventClassKeys but instead the actual clearing/correlation rules for the events. If you can, tell me what behavior you experienced before and after trying my fix. Perhaps I can figure out the answer to your situation.
