A rather chilly week this week. Some rain but temperatures did
break into the 60s now and then. Propagation was often not very good.

I actually tried tape at first and wasn't as happy with the results.
Removing a bit of the case material seems to solve the root of the problem
rather than just deal with the effects.

I haven't done exactly that, but it can certainly be done with a home
brew cable that uses only pins
When I monitor my audio the audio has an echo to it . Is this normal or do I
have something amiss??

Mike, there are no screenshots posted yet. The new RX/TX text display mode
is only available on the external monitor when using the P3SVGA option. The
P3 utility does not (yet) support capturing a screenshot of the external
display. I do not know if there are plans to support this in the future.

After white-wiring a burned trace to the collector of Q4, and resetting the
bias current, it appears to be working on all bands. It's weird that the
apparent lack of bias current caused only one band (21MHz) to have low
power.

got my KX3 2 ½ months ago. Right out of the box I couldnt seem to
adjust the paddles as tightly as I normally prefer. The adjustment
screws have rather coarse threads and it seems like theres only about a
quarter of a turn
The CW code display is now working on the external monitor. It has to be
turned on and off through the P3 SVGA menu. I thought the external monitor
might revert to the full screen (turning off the decode screen) when the
mode is changed from CW to LSB or USB. This is not the case. Unless
I think there will soon be an upcoming firmware fix for the K3's cw decode
problem, so I have heard..
