Yes. I thought development was "working on new versions of OOo" - but this only is a small part of that page. It is not only "programming OOo", but more using OOo using programs. > But I am not > persuaded of that. We deployed that term and page following the pattern > of Mozilla. No. Mozillas development is development of Mozilla itself. OOo development page is using the ready OOo (and don't change OOo itself) but write macros for it, use the API to do things with OOo. developing OOo itself only is a small part of it. Furthermore the OOo-Tab reads "Development", Mozilla reads "Developers" > That does not mean much, as they do not have a > "contributing" link. I don't want the contibuting link point to the developer page. That's why I suggested putting the development link to the Ressources (name it "for developers" or something) > As a solution, we could replace the link to "programming.html" with the > development category (http://development.ooo) which might work better. > > This would mean: > > index.html -> contributing.html -> development/index.html Not sure whether I got that right. You want to change the link included in the contribution page? No, please don't. > >The current developer-page is more suitable for a "ressources" section. > > That really depends, don't you think, on what is meant by "resources"? As I understand the development page, it is rearly a ressource for developers (that are not programming OOo itself) but are trying to plug OOo into their collaborative environment, write macros and similar stuff. Surely this depends on what you mean by "ressources" but even more it depends on what you think the development page is about. ciao Christian -- NP: Monster Magnet - Zodiac Lung --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
