Hello and welcome to Monday’s Levy letter… with a difference. Yes it’s Caroline
Davis here today, Peter’s away on holiday and so you’ll be tuning in to me and
Crispin Rolfe on the Look North sofa for the next five days. But don’t worry,
we’ll still be bringing you all the news and stories from our region at six
thirty on BBC One.

On the show tonight we'll have a special report on Lincoln's first ever city
centre field hospital on Friday and Saturday nights. They’ll be treating minor
injuries at the Stonebow Centre over the Christmas period. That sounds like a
good idea, and we’ll have more on that later.

We'll be speaking to the Bishop of Lincoln as he steps into the row over Post
Office closures. There’s been a huge out cry over this, and we’ve had a load of
messages sent in to Look North. I’ll be taking a look at some of them in the
Levy Letter today.

And tonight we're in Lincoln Cathedral with the first of our special
performances from local choirs. Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit like a
good carol, and we’ll have more of these leading up to Christmas.

We visit the pantomime in Hull with a big difference... It's all in French!
It’s being put on by language teachers and students at Mallet Lambert school in
Hull. If you want to find out how to shout “He’s behind you!” in French then
you’d better watch that tonight.

And do you need tips on wrapping those difficult Christmas presents? Well we've
got an expert present wrapper on hand to dish out advice. That’s all coming up
on the show tonight at the usual time on Look North.

Pictures

As always, we need you to send in your interesting pictures for the programme.
Whether you’ve got a lovely winter landscape, or something unusual or funny to
show us, we’re always looking out for your photos. So keep sending them in to
us, and we’ll put some of the best ones on the television this week.

Letter

Well as Peter’s not here this week to cast his eye over the week’s stories and
telly, we’re asking you to come up with ideas of what to feature this week.
Maybe you have an interesting story to tell, or you want to respond to
something you’ve seen on the programme. Maybe you’ve got a question to ask
about Look North and what we do. Well we’re open to all suggestions this week,
so get your contributions into us as soon as possible and we’ll try to fit them
into the letter. Remember, Look North is your programme, and we read every
comment sent to us by phone, text and email. If you want to make a comment
about something on the programme, we’ll have the contact details on Look North,
but if you want to contribute something to the Levy Letter this week, then just
while Peter’s away send your comments to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put Levy Letter
as the subject heading so we can pick it out, and we’ll have a look at
everything you’ve got to say.

Well that's it from me today, I'll see you tonight with Crispin Rolfe on Look
North at the usual time of six thirty on BBC One. Bye for now.

Caroline
