[Dx4win] PSK31 window
A while back (a year?) there were a few emails on problems with the PSK31 window from both WC2L and PY2YP. I think I am reliving them. I launch PSK and a blank window appears with no function buttons, no waterfall, nothing. The screen does have the standard background color (light blue). It can be resized and that is about it. Although the solution was to load in a backup copy of the config.dat., I am wondering if a cause had ever been found or documented. 73 Jim KS1J __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] PSk31
I have a K3, Microkeyer II and DX4WIN. I have been trying to get PSK31 to work. I can receive. I see call signs etc., When I try to answer a CQ, I hear what appears to be a signal and my call is printing. I cq and get no response. I feel that the something is missing.. Any suggestions? [Dx4win] PSK31 with K3/DX4WIN
Hi,While I am on vacation, my friend, F1AYO, who has just purchased and installed DX4WIN, tries to make it work on PSK31 mode with is K3 transceiver. He tried two connections between his PC and K3:- USB on PC connector to K3 RS232 port via Prolific USB/RS232 interface- USB on PC connected to the Signal Link USB interface, whose USB output goes to K3 RS232 port via Prolific converter. After starting DX4WIN, K3 frequency is correctly shown and followed. Opening PSK31 window on DX4WIN, he has both scope and waterfall displays and the PSK31 audio signals received from K3 are well shown and correctly decoded. PROBLEM: - no PTT on K3 with different DX4WIN PSK31 and DX4WIN Preferences configurations when PSK31 TX activated - tried to key via VOX activated on K3: no PTT either - forced K3 on TX via push-button: no TX modulation on transmit (TX AF is supposed to modulate K3 via one of RS232 input pins; maybe VOX doesn't trigger as there is no TX audio) I will try to help Antoine via phone (I had never used any K3 radio and do not know its features/configurations; Antoine says the K3 setup is rather complicated). So,if some K3/DX4WIN user has a good PSK31 working configuration, I would appreciate the info that contains: -- connection between PC and K3 via USB or Signal Link (I do not know this one either :) ! )- setup of DX4WIN Preferences related to radio, keying , CW and PSK31 parameters.- any particular K3 setup procedure in order to make it work on PSK31 with DX4WIN Thanks in advance ! 73, Radi F6GNZ __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 with DX4WIN
Merry Christmas I think that the problem is your soundcard audio output to radio data or mic input. Radio reads audio input either back side (only digital) either in mic. Also search what is happended to your soundcars. Usb iii had its own soundcard so probably something has changed in the computer. Search this also. There is also a chance something happened and computer has lost the microham soundcard. Unplug it both usb and power (if it has) and plug it again. Also make a restart. 73 kostas sv1dpi - Original Message - From: "Fred - NA2U" To: Sent: Sunday, December 25, 2011 2:47 AM Subject: [Dx4win] PSK31 with DX4WIN > I'm using DX4WIN v8.04 with Pro III and microham USB III interface. [Dx4win] PSK31 mode in real time logging
DX4Win 8.03: When logging in real time mode, the log mode used to be automatically PSK31 when the PSK window was open. I don't know why it suddenly shows the radio mode (SSB) although the PSK window is open. I have tried everything including rebooting, but no joy. [Dx4win] PSK31 - how to transmit?
Slight edit to what I said above. Message should read as follows: Thanks to US Interface/Navigator's Clint Hurd, KK7UQ, for resolving my issue - how to key the PTT line when using DX4WIN's PSK31 capability. By telephone, Clint patiently reviewed all my comm port settings and methodically worked through to a solution (including downloading DX4WIN 8.03). The answer turned out to be surprisingly simple. Use the same comm port used by the Navigator to control Ham Radio Deluxe. (Specifically, I entered comm port 5 in the CW tab of Setup Parameters, and selected "PTT Control" in the PSK31 settings (Alt+S in the PSK31 window)...and voila. My thanks to Clint and to all the others who responded. The ACC connector in the rear. It is the same connector for every Icom rig I have ever used: pin 3, ACC 1 (Pin 3, ACC 2 would also work). Actually... that's not strictly true... the really old Icoms used a 24 pin accessory connector... but I used an adapter to simulate the two ACC plugs with my 751A so I was sill using pin 3 ;-) David M. Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 - how to transmit?
I use a COM port to control PTT with my 7700. It is the same setup I used with my older IC781. Newer Icoms like the 7700 and 7800 can switch to transmit under software control via the CI-V bus but I don't think D4W supports it yet... or if it does, I don't know how to make it work. David M. Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 - how to transmit?
Hello David and HNY first of all i am not familiar with your hardware But i know abt dx4win... To have psk working needs to setup these FIle>preferences>control tab and setup the psk card. Better not choose the default but the right one both in receiveing and transmitting. If you have a mistake in tx, your rig will make ptt but you will have not a sound out and finally not pwr. FIle>preferences>cw and setup your interface where says "software cw keying/PTT control". Becareful to have the right com port and possibly under rts line the ptt control. When you hit alt+3 psk window will be up. with alt+s you can see some psk settings. Change the right one under tx (if needed) there is nothing else needs a setup in dx4win. If you have checked these and psk is not working look for something in your trx or interface. 73 Kostas sv1dpi - Original Message - From: "David M. [Dx4win] PSK31 - how to transmit?
Searched the archives but could not find the answer to this simple(?) problem - I'm unable to key the IC7800 using the PSK31 function in DX4WIN 7.05.04. I am able to decode signals, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong on transmit. Here's the set-up: IC7800 + Navigator (in file/Preferences/Control, tried both Default Sound Card and Cards 0 and 1 in PSK Sound Card). Presently control radio via com port 7; tried Stop Radio and using com port 7 ( PSK31 window/ Alt+S /TX/com 7, then tried PTT and VOX). Nothing. Control SteppIr antenna via Remote jack on IC7800. Successfully use HRD with DM780 - but give up DX4WIN control of rig to HRD when I want to operate RTTY or PSK31.that's why I'd like to get the PSK31 function going on DX4WIN. I assume I'm missing something elementary - a cable connection or software setting. If I have to add a PTT connection, I don't see where it would terminate on the radio. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. [Dx4win] PSK31 bug
This is actually carried forward from V7. I think it was a "feature" intended to help... but it creates a problem. Alt-R "Center Radio" is an important command to center a signal in the radio passband. However, it also resets the mode to USB causing the data mode to be switched off. This is a BIG pain in the... neck ;-) Is there something we can do in the Rig File? I don't think so... but... Otherwise... could Paul please remove this unnecessary and troublesome mode set command. Thanks... Mel... [Dx4win] PSK31 Won't Key K3
Version 7.07.02 If both CW and Radio ports in DX4WIN Preferences are changed to None, then PSK31 can be set to Com 5 (the K3 port) and it will key the K3. However, this leaves no control of the radio (K3) and is not a viable solution. It test just proves, I think, that DX4WIN is not allowing itself and PSK31 to use the same radio port. Does anybody have PSK31 working with the K3 radio? If so, what am I doing wrong. Help please from anybody. 73, Bud W3LL w...@arrl.net - Original Message - From: "Bud Governale, W3LL" To: Sent: Saturday, August 08, 2009 11:54 AM Subject: [Dx4win] PSK31 Won't Key K3 1. Bud, If someone helps your or you finally master the problem, please share as I am experiencing the same and cannot figure it out. I have tried to suggested software, which supposedly supports multiple software programs all using the same COM port with no success thus far. Previously, (Kenwood 570D) I used a Rigblaster pro and that allowed everything to work with a single COM port (CW, PSK, SSB and RTTY). Thus far I am making slow progress with K3 (wonderful radio). - Tony , N3ME - -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Bud Governale, W3LL Sent: Saturday, August 08, 2009 16:55 PM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] PSK31 Won't Key K3 1. [Dx4win] PSK31 HELP WITH A SIGNALINK USB...
Hi, I would like to run PSK31 through DX4WIN, but I am having problems setting-up my Tigertonics Signalink USB. I've got it working fine on Digipan as a separate App, so I know everything works, but I would prefer to use the PSK31 software as part of DX4WIN. I can't seem to get DX4WIN to recognise the SL1 USB soundcard interface - Can anyone help? For the record, I'm running Win XP, FT-857D AND DX4WIN Ver 7.02.15. Thanks in advance, Laurence, M0LSK. I am setting up a computer for my friend, and am trying to get a IC746 to talk to his computer. Despite ALL of the various software computations tried, none will make the Icom talk to DX4Win - DX4Win simply says that the 'Radio timed out'. I loaded Ham Radio Deluxe on to his computer, did the set up, and presto - the Icom cheerfully talks away to HRD. It took all of 90 seconds to achieve. BTW, tried all this (ie all of the above) on various ports, via serial, and also with USB - same result, always. No go for DX4Win, OK for HRD! As an aside, his version of DX4Win is 6.04, mine is 7.03 - makes no difference. So, may I conclude that the hardware is OK - now for the software!! I am using the latest version of XP - by that, I meant, as far as I am aware, the very latest XP update has been downloaded to my computer. Is there some setting within XP that I should alter? Other than this small effort at understanding! What the problem might be, I have no clue as to what may be my problem. Can anyone be of assistance, please. [Dx4win] PSK31 and K2
Hello, Thanks for the replies on the PSK31. I had the RIGblaster Plus running my K2 before I moved 4 years ago. I finally found the unit tucked away in a box that I thought had only manuals in it. Anyway, I got the RIGblaster Plus up and running with my K2 on PTT. I am using the DX4WIN 7.02.15 program and I had to figure out the different codes for the buffers. First QSO was with HP1 in Panama running the K2 @ 5 watts into a ground mounted Butternut HF9V with 120 radials on the ground. Once again, thanks for the help. 72 and Thanks, Ron Polityka WB3AAL www.wb3aal.com www.n3epa.org

Check your radio, RTTY and CW preferences to make sure you are not using this COM port anywhere. Check the Control preferences to make sure you are selecting the correct PSK sound card. [Dx4win] PSK31 set up
GM all, Can anyone help me please. I have been using dx4win for PSK31 from my home qth for some time without problem. Now, I am in XE1 land and want to operate PSK but cannot set up the macros with XE1/G3SVD. I suppose this is because the license is for just plain old G3SVD. I have a log set up for XE without difficulty but it won't let me change the call in preferences. 73 Andy XE1/G3SVD From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 27 14:41:20 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (JohnD) Date: Mon Sep 27 14:48:01 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] Setting state info Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I recently worked the CQ WW RTTY contest. After the contest I generated an adif file from my Writelog contest log. I then imported the adif file into DX4WIN. All went well, but the state information all shows up in the "notes for this call" field. Does anyone know an easy way to move this state info to the "state" field? Or, maybe a way to import it so it shows up in the "state" field in the first place? I can certainly do this manually, but that seems pretty tedious. John DeRuiter, WM7A http://members.cox.net/wm7a/

[Dx4win] PSK31 reception problem
I am trying to make PSK31 work in 6.03. All seems fine except that there is nothing in the Rx window unless I transmit something and then that is echo'd there. I do see something that looks as if there is something being printed there in white characters on the white background as the echo'd Tx characters eventually work their way off the top of the screen as one would expect as more text is received. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks & 73 Stan, N3HS

Bill, I've only operated PSK31 a few times, but a simple way of checking your system's receive function is to just connect a cable DIRECTLY from the fixed audio output jack on the back of the MP to one of your sound card audio inputs, e.g. Mike. You should be able to copy PSK31 with the DX4WIN without a problem. However, make sure that your sound card controls are properly setup. I am using W98 here and you have to go into the audio menu either through the control panel (Multimedia) or the volume (speaker) control icon at the bottom of your screen. If I remember correctly, you have to adjust the parameters under "Recording" to optimize PSK receive. Also, make sure that the audio input that you're using on the sound card is activated, i.e not muted. I'll bet the problem lies in these controls. 73 es GL de Joe Bill Morris wrote: >I am unable to receive PSK 31. The radio is a Yaesu-FT-1000MP connected to a >DELL computer. [Dx4win] PSK31 Menu Problem
Mel, it looks like the problem is solved. Apparently, "Use CW Control" is for VOX operation and the program seeks and finds the proper COM port automatically. It also helped to turn up the VOX gain, which I had all the way down because I never use VOX. The conflict with the manual is what got me into trouble. I had used the program for PSK31 in the past, but I never used an interface. I just used direct connections between the Xcvr and sound card. Everything seems OK now. Thanks for your assistance. 73, Joe Mel wrote: >No it's changed... The options under TX are checkboxes for Net and Use >CW Control > >6.02 doesn't allow a separate COM port for PSK31 PTT control... [Dx4win] PSK31 Menu Problem
No it's changed... The options under TX are checkboxes for Net and Use CW Control 6.02 doesn't allow a separate COM port for PSK31 PTT control... It uses the CW PTT. [Dx4win] PSK31 Menu Problem
Mel, thanks for your help, and you were partially correct. By reducing the font size from 9 to 6, I was able to have the tab headings show their proper labels. However, I still don't get the options that the manual says I should. The manual says than under "TX" I should get a the options for "NET" and "TX Keying". "TX Keying" then should have check boxes in a submenu for "VOX," "CW Interface" and "Serial Ports 1 thru 8". I get no "TX Keying" option at all! I get instead a check box for "Use CW Control". Something is haywire here, because I can't select the COM port for my interface. I should add that I am using version 6.02 and my manual is for 6.0. I am not aware of any updates for the manual. Thanks again. 73, Joe Mel wrote: >Check the font selections in screen preferences... > > > >>-Original Message- >>From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >>[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joe Giacobello >>Sent: January 15, 2004 17:06 >>To: DX4WIN >>Subject: [Dx4win] PSK31 Menu Problem >> >> >>I have a very mysterious problem when I try to adjust the TX >>(transmit >>parameters) settings in the PSK31 window. [Dx4win] PSK31 Menu Problem
I have a very mysterious problem when I try to adjust the TX (transmit parameters) settings in the PSK31 window. First of all, the tabs across the top of the Settings window is blank; there are no names on the tabs. However, except for the TX tab, they all do respond properly with the expected options.when they are selected. In the case of the TX tab, some options seem to be absent. The "TX frequency, "" Net" and "CW control" options are visible, but there is no "TX keying" option as described in the manual. As a consequence, I'm unable to select a COM port for my interface. I've reread the manual and the Help files several times without success. Does anyone have any insight here? Thanks and 73 de Joe
[Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying
Dear Larry, I had a similar problem with lack of serial ports, I brought a USB adaptor for about $100, which gave me 4 additional serial ports. The adaptor came from the states and if that solution appeals to you I'll send you manufacturers tel number. I am at work now and the info is at home. I am sure you have considered this solution, however, it=92s a shame it does not work for you as it did in DX4WIN earlier version. This works fine for CW, but when operating in PSK31 mode, the LPT keyed line does not seem to operate. I have gone into the PSK Tx preference window and checked the "use CW control" - but the LPT CW line does not work from PSK. (the frustrating fact is that PSK keying _does_ work under exactly the same settings from the COM port - but my com ports are dedicated to other functions). [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying
Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions. My comments below... Martin -- I have a rig that allows PTT and CW control on the same line, but that does not help me if the software doesn't key the line under PSK. I attempted your suggestion regarding setting the PTT delay for 500, but 6.02 allows no number higher than 255. Are you running a different version of the software or a different PSK DLL??? Roger -- Thanks for the validation -- I was certain that I used to be able to switch modes from SSB to CW to RTTY to PSK without any reconfiguration - but that must have been under version 5.x (I haven't run PSK in quite a while). Looks like I have to wait until a maintenance release is issued... -larry K8UT - Original Message - From: "Roger Borowski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Larry Gauthier (K8UT)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 9:43 AM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying > Larry, In Ver 6.0x, you have to geo into "Preferences" and "Control" and > switch the configuration from CW to PSK31 PTT and back and forth depending > on the mode you are using at the moment. [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying
Hello Roger Had the same problem here, they both have to be on the same port but it is possible to use only cw on DTR or RTS and cw control enabled in the psk window with 500ms PTT delay to key the transceeiver. All you need is a connector on your transceiver that allows CW and PTT on the same pin. This works fine on my FT-897 DATA connector. 73 de Martin ON6MX window- Original Message - From: "Roger Borowski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Martin De Craemer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 9:13 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying > Doesn't work when CW is on the rig control port and PSK31 uses a different > port. [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying
Kenwood does not provide for PTT via serial commands, thus I'm using a RigBlaster, which requires a separate COM port for PTT to key the mic connector PTT. That all worked just fine in Ver. 5.02/03, but no longer easily possible in Ver. 6.01/02. BTW, buttons for Short Path/Long Path rotator control would also be a nice improvement rather than the pull down menu or keyboard commands. Most other logging software has done this and it really works slick allowing turning the antenna with a single mouse click. Just another "wish" that would only add flexibility to this function. Maybe they could be added to the main taskbar or another window that could be positioned over the right side of the DX4WIN main taskbar 73, Rog-K9RB - Original Message - From: "Martin De Craemer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 3:55 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying > Hello Roger > > Had the same problem here, they both have to be on the same port but it is > possible to use only cw on DTR or RTS > and cw control enabled in the psk window with 500ms PTT delay to key the > transceeiver. > All you need is a connector on your transceiver that allows CW and PTT on > the same pin. > This works fine on my FT-897 DATA connector. > 73 de Martin > ON6MX > > > window- Original Message - > From: "Roger Borowski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Martin De Craemer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; > Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 9:13 PM > Subject: Re: [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying > > > > Doesn't work when CW is on the rig control port and PSK31 uses a different > > port. [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying
Larry, In Ver 6.0x, you have to geo into "Preferences" and "Control" and switch the configuration from CW to PSK31 PTT and back and forth depending on the mode you are using at the moment. In Ver. 5.02/03 the PTT keying port was selectable in the PSK31 window. Now its a real pain to switch between these modes as it requires you to go into Preferences and control each time you change modes. I've alerted Paul numerous times about this and hopefully it will be addressed in the next maintenance release. 73, -=Rog-K9RB=- - Original Message - From: "Larry Gauthier (K8UT)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 6:25 AM Subject: [Dx4win] PSK31 support for LPT keying > Due to a shortage of serial ports, I use LPT1 to key CW in DX4WIN. [Dx4win] PSK31 config change in DX4WIN 6.02? A solution!
Mel (et al), Mel is absolutely correct - DX4WIN v6.02 keys pins 1 and 16 of the LPT port, and similarly keys RTS and DTS on a com port. There is no bug; the program behaves as described in the documentation. Since I am the guy who started this multiple-email discussion {and claimed there was a bug -- my apologies to those who really don't care about this topic}, I feel compelled to post my solution. The problem for many of us is that version 5.03 included a com port configuration feature allowing independent selection of ports for CW and PSK keying. Many of us took advantage of that feature when designing the complicated and delicate sets of interfaces between our radios, RibBlasters, CI-V converters, antenna switch boxes, rotor controls, and computers. Version 6.02 combined the CW and FSK keying into one configuration setting, eliminated the independence feature, and thus our interfaces stopped working. I have studied the behavior differences between 5.03 and 6.02, and concluded that the simplest (and cheapest) solution for me is to add a single 2 cent diode to my serial card, and "diode sum" the DTS signals between com1 and com2. This will allow me to use com1 for CW and FSK; and use com2 for my RigBlaster - which controls MMTTY and other AFSK type software. The diode will connect the DTR signal from PSK keying on com1 to the DTR line on com2 - so the RigBlaster, which "thinks" it is sitting on com2, will be keyed by the PSK key line on com1. Thanks, Mel, for insisting that things were working properly, and forcing me to look more deeply into my problem. -larry K8UT - Original Message - From: "Mel Martin (VE2DC)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Larry Gauthier'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "'DX4Win Reflector'" <> Sent: Sunday, March 16, 2003 8:14 PM Subject: RE: [Dx4win] PSK31 config change in DX4WIN 6.02? > Yes it does... Rod, I agree. I don't use LPT port as early on I found that CW doesn't work as well as with COM port. I use COM 3 for rig control and also CW keying, COM 5 is dedicated for PTT w/PSK31 RigBlaster is commonplace with PSK31 and requires use of a separate COM port for PTT Rig control and CW keying work well on the same COM port, can't use LPT port for Rig control. Also, I don't care to re-engineer what use to work well and still works well with Writelog and other programs. That would create more problems when using other software. As I said before, It wasn't broke before and now it is. Ver 5.02/03 did this all fine by allowing a separate port selection. If you don't use a RigBlaster, or separate COM ports for CW and PTT for PSK31 that's what you are missing! If what you are doing works for you, thats great. Yes, Larry, I share this dilemma with you and any others that work CW and PSK31 modes and use different ports for control of CW keying and PSK31 PTT. I brought this problem to the attention of Paul just days after the release of Ver 6... It is a real pain now and was so simple in Ver. 5.02/5.03 and makes PSK31 changeover so difficult that I've gone back to using Ver. 5.02 here. Paul told me that he would work on the problem and I anticipate that fix in the next maintenance release, hopefully soon. Ver. 6.xx would then be a real nice enhancement for us multimode CW/PSK users. 73, -=Rog-K9RB=- - Original Message - From: "Larry Gauthier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Sunday, March 16, 2003 1:41 PM Subject: [Dx4win] PSK31 config change in DX4WIN 6.02? What happened to the ability to independently choose a com port? In my 5.03 configuration, I had been using the LPT port for CW keying, and the com port for keying in either PSK31 or MMTTY. As long as I did not attempt to simultaneously open the PSK window and run MMTTY, this arrangement worked fine. Under 6.02, I attempted to work-arounds... neither which seem to work: First work-around: telling DX4WIN to use the LPT CW interface for PSK keying. It doesn't work. PSK does not key via the LPT port... although CW still works fine. Second work-around: Re-configure for CW keying via the com port. This allows CW and PSK to work properly, but prevents MMTTY from running. (DX4WIN grabs control of the CW port upon launch, and if you try to subsequently launch MMTTY you get a port conflict error.) Has anyone else encountered these problems? Does anyone have a suggestion on how to solve them? -larry K8UT --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html The reason this message is shown is because the post was in HTML or had an attachment. [Dx4win] PSK31 config change in DX4WIN 6.02?
Yep I found the same problem and had the same experience as you did. My work around was to stop using DX4WIN for PSK-31. [Dx4win] PSK31 and SSTV scores - how?
Dear DX4WIN users, I would like to know, how get my PSK31 and my SSTV score. (The DXCC style). I'm still missing this in the Report column. The way thru Report Editor or via Custom Report seems be very impractical. Using DX4WIN 6.02. 73 Milan, OK1FM Milan GÜTTER http://www.ok1fm.com E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bill, I downloaded the latest version of the DLL and it seems to work fine. Reportedly, a few bugs were fixed that I never saw. I plan to include the latest DLL in the next release. [Dx4win] psk31 window
for some reason, the clickable features on the PSK31 window have gone ka boom a double click on a callsign puts everything after the number in the noters for the call line and not in the callsign box. I am not sure if i accidently changed some setting but it was a useful feature and I miss it :-) Any suggestions would be appreciated Merci 73, Steve - KF2TI Time flies like an arrow. Other thoughts... Make sure level is correct Tune very carefully... Those sigs are narrow... Turn on AFC Use BPSK not QPSK (not used all that much)... Good luck...
[Dx4win] PSK31 SQUELCH SETTING PROCEDURE?
Please explain the purpose of the squelch setting in the psk window, and tell me where to set the bar to achieve best copy. I have adjusted the squelch setting up and down but can see little if any difference in copying text. Whatever I'm doing must be OK because it seems to copy text pretty well regardless of squelch level setting. Thanks, Tom, NU7J _ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
