@Jayde: I don't think the author meant for it to be scary. Just a place someone shouldn't go if not prepared for it. I never found Nightside to have a "scary" vibe; merely an alternate reality of impossibilities.

@Lem buffy season 4 and Angel season 1 take place at the same time, so theoretically you could do either Buffy 3, then angel 1, then Buffy 4, or Buffy 3, then Buffy 4 then angel 1. You could even literally alternate watching

@Lem, Yep, Angel gives scope to so much in Buffy, indeed a pretty important figure in Angel and Spike's past is given quite a major context and history in Angel, I won't say who since their arrival and what happens to them
