Les, Do you have vented covers? If not the crankcase pressure
can cause gaskets to leak. I use old style cork gaskets with a light coat
of weatherstrip between the gasket and valve cover. I put the weatherstrip on
lightly and install the gasket and valve cover with light bolt tension to allow
paint and holds up for many
years against normal wear and tear. What I have heard from those using powder
coat on frame parts has all been good. I wish it were available to
me.

Guys, The so called fuelie heads had no mounting holes. The
brackets mounted to exhaust bolts and intake bolts. I did not know March even
had a serpentine setup for this arrangement. My 65 Elky has these heads and this
has always been a problem for me. I modified and improved aftermarket moun

screwed in place. With the lid snapped on the stud connector stays dry. Hope

to stiffen and lift the rear slightly. Air shocks are like adding pogo

Graham, When I set timing after having the dist. out I rotate the dist as it
requires to get the engine started, set static timing about where the book
says, get the engine up to operating temp and then set total timing by
running the engine above three grand(or what RPM is needed for total

Charles, The screws you will see all the way around it's perimeter are all
that holds it in. You will have to unplug everything behind it, unscrew your
speedo cable, radio etc. The steering column makes it a tight fit so it does
help to loosen the bolts under the dash that hold

JD, It would take me less time to swap out a front and rear end than to do
a body swap. I guess it is all in what you are after. Plus you would be messing
with VIN's by body changing.
