We're trying to backup one in particular Exchange 5.5 server and we keep
getting tons of corrupt file errors and we're told that we have a

In my BE Log I have an entry for \\Server\Microsoft Exchange Directory
and another entry group for \\Server\Microsoft Exchange Information
Store.
The description for each is obvious. Directory is the Exchange
Directory, where all of that information

I think it might be a little more complicated than that for a law firm.
Imagine having to restore a mailbox for an employee who worked there 5 years
ago because you are being subpoenaed for correspondence

later an Attorney will need something out of that mailbox for a case and
we'll have to restore it. Or, we have to restore folders or pieces of

Depends. If you had a legal requirement to retain the document and you
