Okay, I thought I was using the most recent version of iKey -- and so did [EMAIL PROTECTED] iKey, because when I chose Check for update it told me my version was up-to-date -- but it wasn't. iKey 2.0.1 is out (although the version number still says 2.0) and downloading and installing it fixed

The reason that there is a separate default for SmartScore is because SS does not support all of the symbols contained in our default file, as well as the fact that the symbols need to be in a different order than what the regular Maestro Font default provides. There's also separate default files

I think part of the problem is that Fin98 output out of the box was not very suitable for scanning, too thin lines. However, don't expect too much from scanning. If you really want to dive into it you should look at SharpEye, which I am told works much better. On the other hand scanning has
