what is the way to change straight eighths into dotted eighths (swing) either
globally or in a region? Thought I saw it posted once, but can't remember how

I can not (for the life of me) make the original 1/8 note triplets be the
default. It is set up for (6) sixteenths and I can't get it to stay with (3)
eighths. Can someone please help me to set my default to (3) 1/8 note triplets?

The white out around fingering on tab doesn't work on the first 3 chords of
a song...the rest are fine. To input or edit these I:
dbl clicked fretboard to get dhord definition menu.
Clicked on edit styles/ fingering numbers/ the white out is set to 0.

How can I get triplet brackets back to 3 in a group instead of 6. I want it to
be my default as it was originally. I changed it from 3 to 6 once and now I
can't get it back.

You might put the Bb chord on the 1st beat of the next measure and drag it
back to where you want it. Sort of a pain too, I guess.

Aha!!!
Just solved the problem by merely typing (Maestro) q for the quarter note
and k for the dot!! The problem with the way I had it was that the dot was too
low in relation to the quarter note. That was because I typed a period instead
of a (k).

Thanks to Aaron, Christopher, and Jeff for your great help concerning circled
noteheads. Using the Maestro K font with a metatool seems to work pretty good
for me. It lines up good with the note vertically but, a little to the right
horizontally which takes a small adjustment. Guess I don't
I made a mistake on Maestro Kis was shift L. The font seemed
great but having trouble with the alignment. Maybe your suggestion with the
shape tool could be a better way. I'll try it.

printout of the PDFfile. The printout of the Finale file is fine

Is there a way to make a chart with 1/4 note hash
marks showing the chord names and the guitar fretboards?

available in Mac. Mine are for Windows.
