I'm still struggling on with regaining my Finale skills after the leap from
2000c. :(
Today I wanted to playback 8 of 9 staves for proof-listening. I consulted
the help which said I could select mute or solo in the Score Manager. But
where? Am I missing something obvious?

The score manager is activated with a command K for the mac and for each staff
line you are able to mute each one or solo each one separately. In Windows it
might be Cntrl K?
I still haven't figured how to mute or solo all of them at once. I think they

I have no idea what Quicklook and Spotlight are. Are these Mac things
that allow you to preview and print the document without actually
opening in Finale?
I could see that could be useful, but that hasn't been a deal breaker
for me, as I've never had that capability in the first place. It

Quicklook once stored in the resource fork, which meant that it was broken
for those of us using SVN for Finale files? I wonder if I could quickly
raise that so that we don't get back into that situation again.

Well, one bug that behaves like that is turning off MIDI Thru and using
Speedy. (This is for sure a bug in Fin12, not sure about Fin14.) Once you
turn on MIDI Thru, the problem ceases. This could be that very problem or
some other problem in Fin14 quite specific to Alberto's setup.

Kudos for the improvements on Export to Audio. In the past I couldn't
complete the export at all for VST instruments in most cases. Now it
seems to be completely reliable and quite fast.
However, I would have hoped there would be an option to create separate
WAV files for each staff line, so
None that I know of, but I¹ve made note of that as a feature to add
(bounce down individually).Soloing would work, but I would suggest turning
OFF Human Playback or adjusting HP settings to ensure no time variances
between staves.

As a windows guy, the re-write is probably of use to you. They probably
optimized the code base, and made it perform better. So decades of shitty code
has been flushed for stuff that runs better. Probably will make it easier going
