The system is a rather old PIII-400 with one 4 GB IDE hard
disk (recognized by the BIOS) as master and one 40 GB IDE
hard (where I have to disable the BIOS recognition) as
slave hard disk
7;t know if the patches will apply cleanly, the latest I found were

I was wondering if anyone was having problems with ppp in 5.2.1 release
and if you have a way to fix it. Here is my problem.
I run ppp in ddial mode. I open a server/socket so that I can tweak it
without killing it or to check on its status. Just in case. I have
been doing this

I am using screen 4.00.01 on FREEBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE.
Running the csh-shell everything works correctly inside screen.
But I have a user who is running the bash-shell.
Now this is happening:
Screen cannot read the .bash_profile unless I set the option in
.screenrc: shell -$SHELL
