that works under Linux. I'd assume you'd have to find an implementation of
OpenGPG that works under Linux and direct your question in that direction.

Dear Ludwig,
the conf file contains no important data. no private keys, no trust data. ONLY
(!) settings. So it's somewhat "safe" to delete the gpg.conf to get rid of
broken settings. Of course it never hurts to backup, right?

Yes, there was an issue with GitHub. Seems they had some trouble with their
amazon-hosting.
We uploaded the 10.5 version again and tested it. It should now be working.
