they are windows commands not jaws specific.

yep, be far easier than trying to explain forms mode. *smiles*
jaws changes a lot of things so we can access them, so it makes a pc respond
differently to what sighted are used to.

someone mentioned this screen reader in regard to the problem Victor has, could
some one tell me what NVDA is?
I'm interested as I often use narrator if jaws crashes but find it more
frustrating as often it wont help to reboot or whatever I need to find out.

have you tried to run 9 with eloquence?
just a thought, as I've a couple real speak voices that just wont work and
I've no clues as to why.
but 9 works just fine on my pc with eloquence.
