Hello all,
Windows 8.1
On most modern computers, I'd be surprised if Ram itself is the issue,
unless you have 4GB or less.
That might be asimplified explanation.
But, I think the way Jaws is coded is a major part of the problem in the way
it has to address the hooks in Windows itself.
It doesn't seem to appear with
Dave,
One of your issues might be 32-bit OS. That limits you as to your memory
usage which I think tops out at only 4Gigs in a 32-bit system.

Another option, since some sighted people want to mess around with the
display settings and layout, is to create a separate user account. And, to
be safe, don't give them admin privileges unless you trust them.

Depending on which email program you use, you can do that, but if you want it

Once you convert that, you may need to edit down to a size that is less than

5. Reboot your PC for the setting to take effect.
Note: I don't know if this still works in build 1709; I don't disable it
since it helps protect against malicious program installation.
YMMV,

The .gz extension is still a zipped file extension.
Take a look here and possibly ou can convert it to a .zip extension and see
if you have better luck:

Does it make a difference? In what way?
Windows 10 pro gives you a bit more control over when updates are installed
than the Home version does.
As far as Jaws performance with other programs, it doesn't matter which
version of Windows 10 you have -- Home, Pro, or Ultimate.

I can get to Account Options using Google Chrome and IE 11 on my Windows 7
box. I can't get to the account options using IE 11.

Try looking at the different fields using the say-color command, which is

Have you tried the Window OCR feature Jaws-key-space, then the letter O,
then W?
I've found that helpful before in trying to find buttons on certain
programs, although I don't use Outlook 2016.

No, it should be 1803, which is the code for the latest Windows 10 release,
being the year 2018 and that the version was the one written in March, 03.
The Fall Creator Update was 1709.
