The problem for Jaws is that when a screen is sent from the server it is nothing but an image. A picture of what the screen should look like. Jaws does not parse an image of the screen for its information, it identifies the controls information to determine what is there and what the text is.

A hanging indent is where the beginning of a paragraph starts near the margin and following lines are indented. It is one of the Word styles. Highlight the paragraph involved and go to formatting ALT-O, down arrow once to paragraph and whack enter then remove formatting I think it is called.
