unchecking the Prompt for detail box on the citation in the clipboard.

I also use PGV for all of my data entry the same as you and, yes,
Legacy has problems importing Gedcoms produced by PGV and others. I
have worked on several occasions with Brian at Support working through
the problems. The main problem appeared to be that Legacy was not
parsing the Gedcom
Even a 3 or 4 level place location option per county wouldn't work. In Canada,
Ontario and much of the rest of eastern Canada uses a 4 level place locations
(city/town/village/township, county/district/municipality, province, country),
while the prairie provinces and BC use a 3 level place
I have recently had problems with Legacy locking up, primarily when I am
working in the Index view, I think. Has anyone else had this problem? I
have to end task and restart, and that gets cumbersome.

If it does on our website, go to the Help Center menu and select Technical
Support for solutions to the most common error numbers and messages.

Until 1974 Yorkshire was divided into three sections calleed Ridings. I
believe the word itself comes from the Viking language and means a 1/3 part.
The three were the North Riding, West and East.
