Hello all, I’m trying in vain to pair a BrailleNote Apex with a client’s MacBook Pro running the latest version of El Capitán. I’ve tried in VoiceOver Utility and it fails every time. I’ve tried in System Preferences and it connects, but when I go to VoiceOver Utility, it can’t load the Apex!

This is a long shot because I don’t know if this is a new system or an upgraded one nor do I know the state of the client’s VoiceOver preferences, but I know I had to reset my note taker one time and in another case, for a client, reset their VoiceOver preferences to get the Apex to pair.

Just to add my two cents, I’ve upgraded to OS X 10.11 within 24 hours of it coming out and I didn’t do a clean install. One of my machines is a late 2013 Macbook Pro that originally came with Mavericks, and I’ve yet to erase that machine since getting it as I’ve never needed to. OS X El Capitan
