How fast does the engine spin (i.e. normal sound speed or look at the
RPM gauge) when trying to start? What is the voltage across the battery
when you are trying to start? This sounds like it could be a starter
that's crapped out.

All of my head bolts were at the minimum length or no more than 2mm
longer. The engine had 271kmi on it when I RR'd the head.

RR the motor mounts, motor shocks, AND the filter base seal. Also,
change the oil during this project. That will make the messy part of
this project less cleaner.
