I'll go back farther. My 116 has firm pad and leather. On a long trip, you
arrived rested as you should. My 123 is good also, but the MBtxt lacks the
firmness of the 116's leather and more firm pads. I realize there probably

Just some info... I've been running Norton for years. It's free with my Comcast
internet. Norton scans files I download and tells me if they are ok. If they

been run with dino 10w30, forget the brand. I switched it to Valvoline Maxlife
10w40 for engines with over 75K. Both main seals were dry and I wanted to keep

to me :-)) But, I've always used Mann in my two 617s and that was when they
were both driven daily and had 3K oil changes with Mobil Delvac 15x40 dino oil.
A few times I needed an oil change and couldn't get a Mann,
Over twenty years ago when I got my 617s, I tried different oils. The Mobil
Delvac 15x40 dino did the best job of keeping a higher oil pressure when hot.
I've tried Rotella and others without that result. I've only run dino in these
old cars, 3K oil/filter changes and they are both happy (360,00
I've used the tranny fluid to lube the IP in both my 617s. As they were driven
daily, I never noticed an engine performance improvement. I just did it to lube
the IP to replace the sulfur lube they used to get before diesel got "clean" to
save us all.

Poor a pint or quart of trans fluid in the tank and run it through. It will
lube everything in the system. If that doesn't help, it may be time to do what
I always recommend...see a mechanic. Or...get an older 617. I'm sure Dan could

twice, on third time, replace the rotors also. Once I got 3 sets of pads, but
that was once. Should not be expensive on the 123. The rears go a long time

Go to support for whatever computer you have and check for any needed updates,
especially the BIOS. There are chip instructions/features that Win10 wants that
may not have been turned on in the original BIOS in your computer. It's good to
keep your BIOS updated regardless. When I loaded
Curley, when I loaded Win10 over Win7, it kept most of my settings. So, aside
from some small differences, it looks pretty much like Win7 on the surface.
Now, as I said, some of the setting menus, etc. are different, but the search
box quickly brings up whatever you're looking for so not a big p

remove the filter, it is really cruddy looking. Again, I just feel better about
longevity with a shorter oil change. Granted, the oil may not be that worn out,
