Actually, I did a version of this and sent my K10D to be corrected. I included my FA50 which they used for calibration and that lens always worked well. The problem is that the K10D did not allow different corrections for different lenses which is a problem that really can't be fixed by anyone.

Just thought I would share this link. These are the best motorcycle photos from the seat I have ever seen. It is a thread of photos taken by the motorcyclist. He shoots w a 5D/5D II, left handed, no gloves, no camera strap, while in motion (and quite well leaned over from what I can tell).

Well, an hour and a half's drive makes it questionable. But his stuff is clearly worth more than $35 if you were in the same town. All black bodies are very desireable. The Tokina is a 35-70mm 1:3.5-4.8 If you could confirm the 50mm is a f1.7 or better I'd make the drive. I'm betting it is.
