If it is MP3 only, how do I change the Codec it uses?
I am missing iPlayer so any tips on getting it to work would be

For instance it is 9:10pm here, the PM programme (5:00pm) is available
on MP3, but the 6:00pm news is not. It appears to be playing but there
is no sound, so I am presuming it is only available on AAC.

works fine now. The menus are actually rather quicker
to pop up (probably the lack of graphics) and I can now forward fast and
rewind iPlayer streams again. The sound quality is OK too.

After a lot of digging I find an enhancement slated for 7.5 that puts a
user defined limit on the number of tracks allowed in a play list. That
would do the job for me! Trouble is, I really don't want to shift from
7.3.3 which otherwise works brilliantly.

running almost solidly through the SqueezePlug and Duet. I have been
picking programs from Radios 3, 4 and 6 and interspersing with a few
FLAC files from my library.

The server has been restarted about three times since I upgraded the
softare. I will restart the router and access point and see if that
helps. I will also see if I can find the server log file, although as
it is on a NAS it will probably require some Telnet hacking on the NAS.

I might have a problem with XP and the sound card drivers. There is
only a Microphone check box under the recording devices, there are no
other check boxes. Is there a way to get the stereo mix (or similar)

disk version of this NAS (the DS 211) runs the plugin fine. That has a
1600mhz processor and 256mb RAM and is functionally identical to the one

This is not actually a problem, as the iPlayer plugin streams play fine.
However, using my Duet, every time I select a BBC radio play it again
stream I get a cannot connect error message. This stays on the
Controller screen for a few seconds, but behind it I can see that the
plugin has connected

I don't know - I think someone with a Synology should really push them
to use the standard LMS versions for arm and also to make their perl
architecture string standard so that plugins which ship binaries (such
as spotify) work on synology without modifications.
I am puzzled by
IMHO it is only a matter of time before MySqueezebox.com is turned off.
Logitech Squeezebox hardware is no longer available retail in the UK
(on-line sellers only, and fewer and fewer of them too) and it seems the
same is happening across Europe and the US too. I reckon about two
years at most.
