installation plus 25ukp a month for 512kbit ADSL. Fortunately at the office

I'm having a bit of bother with the autorouter [cue cries of 'and you're

hmmm it's been years since I've played with programming under MS-Win~1
for multi-proc systems I think the OS will obviously take advantage of
the multi-proc (and the OS scheduler may schedule separate processes of apps

Have you tried moving the files to the local drive, disconnecting the
network and logging in locally to the computer before running?
I've had tasks that were using a shared drive hang for extended periods

Dennis, Rob,
thanks for the suggestions, for the record I am using NT4. Since Rob
says he has seen it across WIN95 and 2K then I will assume it is similar in
NT as well. Yes Dennis it is nice to standup and smell the roses/look out a

Heres a quick one,
I have a PCB which Protel99SE refuses to finish routing ( 1.5 hours)
regardless of settings like track width, via sizes etc. I export it to
Protel98 and the router takes no real effort to finish ( 10 min). Sure
enough, in the 98 version the board it produces needs a bit of
I don't like the W2K reboot time, but if I don't reboot Protel99SE seems to
still be broken.
W2K takes a long time to reboot because its automaticly correcting files,
healing itself, and wondering why Protel99SE crashed!
I'm sorry I'm going to miss this string but I've got to leave early to go

That's funny, my Win2K takes half the time to boot compared to my Win98, about 45

That is only if your rotation step is set to 90 degree. Mine is 45 degree.
