I don't think it will ever feel if you continue to get up. My sores will not and I always go to the hospital wounds Center where they can correctly monitor. They also give me the necessary supplies and treatment. The used a waferlike material called fibercol that was very expensive.

Try to keep the area from being overly moist as your wound will not heal if to wet. Naturally, the more you stay off it the quicker it will heal. I had a sore in a fold of my skin on my behind and finally decided to stay in bed off of it. It does help. Possibly look into a cushion that would

William, I feel for you, buddy. For 3 years I had an area on the crease between my buttock and leg that was never deep but wide in area (about 3 x 2 inches) it would weep and scab, weep and scab. I tried various remedies to no avail, so I'd pretty much resigned myself to living with it.
