Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi Jeff,
AES doesn’t list cycles, just the 38 MWh/10 yr warranty of which you can back
calculate cycles which works out to around 1.5 per day per 10 years.

Hi William,
I dont do the math based on up front kwh cost, but on lifetime kWh based on the
number of cycles per average DOD that are going to be used. I use this same
formula to compare all batteries to each other.
Jay
Peltz power.
For example, a Rolls L16 ex has 3500 cycles at 50% DOD
shutdown before the time is up.
Of course setting the LBCO a bit higher will take care of that.
And there is an odd rebulk issue that might come into play for those doing grid
charging.
But the charge parameters and all that work just fine.

Then the relay method is easy and reliable to use.
Relay trips at whatever battery voltage you don’t want to exceed.
I use a solid state relay with a good heat sink, only switching one leg.

Hi Jason,
My curiosity is about both breakers tripping.
I would suggest using a larger output breaker, I believe its a 40, put in a 50

HI All,
I’m wondering if anyone has found a good inexpensive MPPT controller
40-80 amp
100-150v input
I keep getting asked about them, and given that many are $100-200 vs $600-900
for the usual models, its a big difference.
thanks

Would be interesting to see if it happens if they are using the generator.

Hi Carl,
As you are using Schneider products, I’d recommend Discover lithium. They
communicate with Schneider products using the standard xanbus protocol.

Hi Drake.
give That a shot.
The left power module is the master.
It’s my understanding that the control of the PM’s is done from the control
boards.

Hi drake,
The batteries see watts
The inverter sees VA

Do you have the Schneider battery monitor or another brand?
It will record lowest voltage since last reset.
Would help in diagnosing the problem.

I’m wondering if it’s designed to account for gravity sag once the modules are
mounted. Lots of modules I’ve seen especially the larger format ones seem to be
concave with time.
If I understand correctly, these are bowed up which would allow them to settle
flat?

Hi Dave and jeff, and others.
The customer already has the system as is very happy with it.
He was just looking to get some replacement parts, but the company seems to be
gone, hence my question about old stock or compatible alternatives.
Thx

Battery hydration systems who appear to out of business.
Does anyone know of compatible replacement parts?
Thx

side. So wouldn't work in that configuration
I’m with dave on the 80-600.
I can’t see it as a danger but not sure how the two controllers handle it.
Would be interesting to see the output!
You’re all good

Hi mark,
Not quite.
The BB will keep charging unregulated until the battery voltage reaches high
battery voltage cutout set point.
