Mucking about trying to see if I can update my old rivendell / rdairplay
does video in place of audio trick.
Videos are represented by macro carts.
This does not work: (Cart number 72's lines)

OK, this is odd.
I have a recent 3.x install. Today I moved over a recent sql backup from
our onair system.
Old (very) logs will load and play. Recent logs including logs generated
since the conversion cause rdairplay to crash when loaded.
What logs in /var/log should I look at for clues as to
Hi...
installed a 3.x recently on an old emergency machine with an extra asi card
in it.
As deployed, we send sound out of the card and take a processed version of
it back in on another.
Main Log output 1 and 2 are both card 0 port 0.
On our "extra" setup, we don't have the outboard processor.

Mike,
I am a bit confused. I got in to the 3.x box I have access to.
my 2.x boxes:
rd:x:1000:1000:Rivendell Audio:/home/rd:/bin/bash
rivendell:x:150:150:Rivendell radio automation system:/var/snd:/bin/false
$ ls /home
rd
"my" 3.x box:
rd:x:1000:1000:Rivendell Audio:/home/rd:/bin/bash
Mike,
it is likely too late now, but if you see this soon, I am in #rivendell on
freenode. Perhaps we can find a solution. I will likely be there and able
to help for another half hour. If not, look for me after 9:30 am est
tomorrow morning if it is still not sorted.

Mark,
I would imagine you could pull it off with filewrite or udp and netcat.
(pypad stuff + netcat)
Do you just need a hint like that or are you more of a newbie to linux and
Rivendell?
