because they are what Logitech has the agreement from Pandora to use.
Working with a different device via sync is a fortunate side-effect of

In that case, try going through the menus on the SB device and ask it to
make an explicit connection to your LMS server.
Once you find the correct menu item ... it will prompt for the IP
address of the server that you want to connect to.

The typical way to do this it for wait-for-network in systemctl startup
but I don't know if that treats a 169.254 as the network being
available.

connection as not being at home - so it is preventing connections.
