RE: nfl game pass
Sis Pam, I haven't gone to Cors Field, our baseball stadium yet! Since most games are played at night, it has been tough picking a day in which to go. If possible, I'd like to go to a day game, but I'll bring my headset AM/FM radio to the ballpark else I'll be left in the dust. I did go to the Denver Broncos stadium a few times without a radio of course. That, I wouldn't do again! When I walked around a few ponds in Europe, I detested listening to Tv calls for English Football, sorry, soccer! I always preferred listening to the games on the radio. Upon return to the U.S. though, I thought that Tv game calls here would be more exciting. I was wrong and it didn't take too long to find out. Radio will always be my personal preference when it comes to listening to any game calls and descriptions. I have enjoyed the guys who do it here in my clan and on ESPN radio stations around here. RE: nfl game pass
Tom, what happened to me wasn't an Android thing! As I said, I should have extracted the .APK file for keeps, but I didn't! All my apps, except for the Football Radio one installed with no problems. What I later discovered was that the author chose to convert the apps into two separate ones. Previously, everything was contained in one app and all I had to do was choose College or Pro football in the drop-down list. If I had extracted the .APK before performing a factory reset, I wouldn't have had the problem. It's ok though; I typically don't follow college football much. I can, if I so choose, get college football broadcasts on ESPN stations in my clan! Moe wrote in part: "To all football fan , If you have a smart phone yu can download "pro radio " App and lessen to your teaqm with local announcer, or any team you want to." Please permit me to ask: Is this for the iPhone or can it be gotten on Android too? Checking Android after typing "ProRadio" in the search box, I found one called "ProRadio for NFL". Tapping on it though gives me NFL Mobile. So, I'm a bit confused. Much thanks for all help. Hi everyone! A couple of friends of mine are both sports fans. He is sighted and she is blind. When football or baseball season is on, he will be watching the TV and she'll be listening to the radio, because she has the same problem of lack of description from the TV. She says it's kind of funny, though, because the radio and TV don't match up, due to the different media, so he'll be cheering and she'll have to wait until the radio catches up to find out what the excitement is about. All of that frivelous talk instead of giving play-by-plays on TV is boring. Debby At 12:50 PM 8/10/2017, Butch Bussen via Talk wrote I think you all are missing the point, it isn't the language, it is the act they don't describe anything. Same is true on baseball on tv, they don't really tell you what is happening. tv might say strike three, maybe. The radio would say he swung at ball 4 the pitch was way outside. It isn't the language, it is what they don't say. 73 Butch WA0VJR Node 3148 Wallace, ks. On Thu, 10 Aug 2017, Pamela Dominguez via Talk wrote: I'm totally used to it. They wouldn't let you take your radio with you? A lot of people I know who go to baseball games, take their radios. Talking about television versus radio: George always said he liked it on radio better. There's a guy I know who is just recently blind. He always puts the met games on on TV. I ask him why, and he said he is used to it. I told him the radio gives better announcing, because they have to: there is no picture to rely on. But I guess old habits die hard. He mentioned something about having to listen to it on the radio, and it made me wonder why he would refer to it in that way. He is still thinking he can see it on the television, even though he can't. Olusegun, This has nothing to do with the thread, but I'm curious about losing that app, just in case I ever decide to try an Android device. If I reset my iPhone or iPad all I have to do is open the app store and download all my previously purchased apps. Are you on your own in this regard on Android? Am I correct in assuming there's a PC or cloud backup you should have used in order to restore apps? Until I lost my sight some 32 years ago, I'd turn the TV volume all the way down and listen to the game on the radio. Radio info even back then was so much more intuitive. You can't do that now a Days because of programming delay. Kevin, You missed Alan's point. Alan was not offended by the phrase. Re: nfl game pass
I'm totally used to it. I wouldn't want somebody to talk to me any other way, because it's normal speech. There have only been a couple of times when I have gotten my back up, because somehow, I thought the person who said it to me was actually really expecting me to see it. I don't know how to explain it; it's something that you have to be there for the specific experience. Other than that, saying stuff like that is just normal. And who wants to be considered abnormal? Re: nfl game pass
I wouldn't pay that either. I've been a sports fan all my life and sports on TV has gotten terrible! The broadcasters can hardly be heard do to allowing croud noise into the booth and other loud sound affects. Plus the broadcasters BS about other subjects other than the sport they are calling. So, I'm stuck listening to whatever I can find on the A M dial. Re: nfl game pass
The NFL season is about to start. The NFL wants you to shell out $99.99 for the 2017 season. watching the games on television is worthless to me because they say things such as look at that! He dropped the ball! Fumble! where has if you listen to the radio, you get a full audio description. The NFL just can't get that through their effing heads. I don't need coaches Phil or any of that crap. I have been complaining for several seasons that it is not fair that I have to pay 100 bucks the audio pass only cost 40 colors are year until the and FL got really. greedy. I'm just not going to pay them $100 this year Alan Sent from my iPhone 5s > On Aug 10, 2017, at 7:39 AM, tony via Talk <talk@lists.window-eyes.com> wrote: > > I also had no success in listening to home team audio radio broadcast, > > tried again last night with tex/car no sound, > > have you had any success yet? > > >> On 8/4/2017 14:43, Kurlander Richard (75) via Talk wrote: >> Does anyone know how to access nfl game pass for 2017?
