In reply to mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] : ASK I just checked... Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs shows TB ASK installed as 3.85.03 which is the MSI of the latest stable release. I ASK don't even have the int'l pack installed, always deselected it (the ASK built-in english interface is enough for me). ASK Whats really interesting #2 - I just started TB in the admin account (by ASK simply clicking Start / E-Mail, the XP shortcut to the default mail ASK program) and it loads version 3.0.2.10! Re: The Bat! 3.86.03 ALPHA
Guten Tag Alexander S. Kunz, Well, even though I don't have an IMAP account its good to hear that TBs IMAP is getting somewhere. That most definitly lies in the eye of the beholder. I haven't tested the Alpha but the last final is as problematic as ever, in IMAP and everywhere else (runtime errors, won't close, principal functions not working and erratic behaviour in general). And I'd be willing to bet a butt and a nickel that the good ole' view-mode-bug is still in there. For my own, I'm staying at v3.0.1.33 for it is the last working version. Professionally, I'm working on phasing out TheBat from our network. It has proven to have been a bad choice: From my viewpoint TheBat is definitly not getting ANYwhere. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Alto Speckhardt mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Current ALPHA is 3.86.03 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Especially since they can easily switch to another product and become your ex-customers and ex-promoters. Being pedantic has its advantages, and TB! is certainly a good product. However, you have to be a bit realistic about what is out there. This customer, for example, could not connect by normal port at all, due to his company's security policy. He is clearly someone who knows what he is talking about. Even if he wanted to, he cannot use (or promote!) The Bat!. If a button is close to right or bottom edge of a screen, then some part of the window is beyond the edge. This should be prevented. By the way: if there are more then just one smiley sets, perhaps it would be a good idea to place them in adequate tabs within the window. -- / Krzysztof Trybowski pgp 0xE0F7733B /--/ To get my pgp key, put / / www.trybik.jest.okey.pl GG 1458144 /--/ send_key in subject. /_ Using The Bat! 3.86.03 ALPHA (beta) [reg] under Windows XP 5.1 build 2600. I cannot reproduce this behaviour under Windows Vista RC1. Can anybody confirm this under Windows XP? MM I can't confirm too under XP SP2 with default icons set, no error appears. MM Maybe using alternative icons causes this? Hi, I am using alternative icons but have no time at the moment to test this. Will do that later!
