vmoduser?

2001-07-11 Thread Alex Hathaway
Is there some reason the command "vmoduser user@domain -e cryptedpass" wouldn't function? the poor thing returns error 0, doesn't modify the vpasswd file or .cdb. For kicks and giggles I removed the lock file, and still no happyness. vmoduser re-makes the .passwd.lock ? Permissions happy,

qmail-popup / vpop

2001-07-03 Thread Alex Hathaway
I'm not sure which is to blame here, or really where to start.. So I'll start with the nicest bunch of people first ;) Seems for some reason netscape ver 4.60/.61 when you put [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the pop account name decides to throw 1/2 the information to popup daemon. Or.. the popup daemon

Fixing tcp.smtp

Ok.. I had to update tcp.smtp with another relay allowed IP address for our local offce... I thought tcp.smtp.cbd was dynamically made, so I removed this file.. how on earth do you recreate it? Seems every time I restart qmail this isn't re-created. *woof* `Alex

function vdelfiles in vpopmail.c unlinks files... This could be the reason your seeing residue Since solaris' unlink command bypasses any normal quota/disk control your going to see this residue. After a reboot a reallocation of the tables should spark it back to reality. (or a fsck) :P

convert to clear passwords ?
