Just letting the list know that I have managed to get the roaming users
working with the vpopmail-5.4.0-rc2 and courier-imap-2.2.2.20040118
version of courier on a redhat 7.3 box.
I noticed a post earlier saying that valias in MySQL wasn't working, however
all of mine are working still as they did
There is a tool called vdeloldusers that can be used to delete users who
havnt accessed their mailbox in xx number of days. eg:
*/5 * * * * /home/vpopmail/bin/vdeloldusers -a 360 -e -D > /dev/null 2>
/dev/null
runs from crontab and tells the tool to delete users that havnt auth'd
in the last 360
You will need to provide us with more information before we could
even consider helping you. To start with how about you send your
qmail-pop3d run script to the list so we can see it.
Log files and other information relevant to your problem wouldn't hurt
either.

The simplest option is to just use the chkuser patch which gives a 5xx error
at the time the email is coming in. If you have a catch all, it will go to
that account, if you don't well the email never gets in to begin with.
Problem
solved.

Try first:[EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of the dot.
Not sure if it will work, but worth a try.

That's not a problem with vaddaliasdomain, but rather a problem with
ezmlm config. Ezmlm is expecting to see the domain name that it was setup
as in the To or CC fields of the email. Because the emails are coming
in on a domain name that its not set to receive mail for, its doing
what its told and

This is a small tool that I put together for someone else.
Feel free to modify it to suit your own needs. It will at

stuff for our own servers which if anyone wants a copy of

You should be using .qmail-user:name
man dot-qmail

I would suggest upgrading vpopmail to 5.4.0 at the very least.

You will notice the message has come from <> which means its likely a bounce

Without turning on more logging it's a little hard to say for certain.

Qmail itself doesn't use mysql. There is one or two people around
that have hacked away at Qmail to make it store data or/and configs
in a sql database, but you would need to see those projects to find
the db schema. Vpopmail can be configured to use mysql, but it is
essentially independent of Qma
Your other option is to run the mysql patch for tcpserver. This lets
tcpserver lookup the relay table instead of using the cdb. Far more
efficient in my finding so far.
