On an iPhone 5 using the most current firmware, I like it very much. I have had some success accessing a computer monitor and reading info on bottles, although this was just out of curiosity. Reading 8 and a half by 11 inch documents works very well. Some business cards can be accessed.

When two people send messages, and they both have iPhones, the messages are sent using apples I message protocol. Normal text messages have a limit of approximately 160 characters. As a result, if somebody who doesn't have an iPhone sends text to someone who does, the texts will be broken up
