I have to say I agree with Mark on this. We operate WISP's because it is unregulated for the most part. How many of us can survive if the FCC decides WISP's are now regulated? Even if none of the laws change (spectrum, EIRP, etc.) you now have to have your financials audited every single year.

I dispensed with the generator. I use lead-acid batteries, a charger which is automatic in that it peaks the lead acid cells now and then, and run everything off an inverter. Not the cleanest, but the power is great, you've got days of backup time, and it recharges itself in a day or two. Nor
