Any you have worked with that would work on a Win2k server? Would they allow for a tranfer via a website? There are some good customizable FTP applets out there that would allow you to handle the uploading of the files through a browser but without using HTTP. I never liked using Witango or

Sorry, I am on Tango 2000. It states in the manual that the domain variables expire the same as local scoped variables. I have mine set at 30 minutes. Does this mean I need to create the domain variable at the login same as the user scoped variable for all to see? In other words, use 2 sets of

Okay. I checked both of these products out. I noticed that they are appliances rather then software. This brings up a few questions because I am a novice with appliances... Would an appliance suite my needs better then just software on a machine? If so, how do you actually access the appliance?

Thanks Robert! Yeah, way off topic, but I'll chime in. All this booting stuff is no longer relevant. It's the equivalent of an 'old wives tale'. In the past there were major reasons for turning them off: 1) Monitors didn't turn off/darken/sleep, and when left on, literally burned out. Same for

Anyone else tried this? Archives? Do you have a link? Think this came up once before. Worth a look through the archives. The challenge is to find the string that represents an URL, which begins with http:// and ends with the first space after that. Tricky. On 2/15/05 9:04 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks, I will give it a try... Hi, The forms[0] part of document.forms[0].email.value.length refers to the first form on the page. forms[1] would be the second form on the page. That's why it's bombing. You can either use forms[1] in your example, or you can name your form. For instance: FORM
