a 'products' directive that you can use to point to
other 'Products' directories other than the default in the
INSTANCE_HOME. I believe you can add multiple 'products' directives to
list multiple directories. Then you don't need to do any symlink or
copying around.

Set InstalPath backs up the current setting. Restore InstallPath
restores the previous setting. Of course if you run Set InstallPath
twice from different installs you will stomp over the initial setting
:)

Because 'finding the python being used by Zope' is a registry key. If
you look at Zope - Python in the start menu there are two shortcuts
there that will do register/unregister.

installer will show up. If the installer breaks we get some visibility
at least.
I'm already running a slave for pybots which has all the needed tools
in place. It wouldn't require much effort to add a Zope Installer
build to that.

it's passing the correct 'ZOPEVERSION' variable, because that's read
from the 'canonical' place in versions.py.
I suggest that we document these steps instead of the previous ones,
because they are less likely to get out of sync, specially w/regards
to 'ZOPEVERSION'.

Basically you need (a properly licensed) VC 7, and Python 2.4.2
installed. Not much else has changed. Unfortunately we haven't gotten
around setting up VC 7 here.
