Absolutely NOT. I think that dismantling the mind is a method to attain
the goal of being cause over mind and thereby becoming metaphorically
speaking more spiritual. Many other methods are available and useful.
These vary from knowledge of the Chakra's, meditation and the practice
of "telekinesis" to Remote viewing and Astral projection or Out of body
experiences.

My preferences are those systems in which one applies a degree of logic.

The proof at present is subjective and cannot be tested by physical
universe means. When I can use telekinetic energy to influence physical
objects - I think I'll have proven something - if only to myself.

I think this depends on how you define the subject. If you mean the mind
(sequential facsimiles influencing the being) - Yes, then I think TROM
is a method, but not the only method.
But I have the notion that one can somehow minimize and escape the mind
by Astral projection and other methods of gaining a different perspective.
How well does it solve them, if it solves them?
Is it absolute and complete?
The same question has to be asked of Hubbard's viewpoints and any one
else's on any subject?
Hubbard used a team to develop Dianetics and unfortunately started
regarding himself as the oracle. What the team developed became very
useful and in my view the basic tech remains valid and workable.
The truth is not determined by authority.
That means, that the truth is not determined because someone said so.
The truth is also not determined by who wins an argument or by or via
beliefs or opinions...
The value of a datum is determined by how many problems it solves, and
how well it solves them.
Very true - It must be very difficult for those who have taken authority
as the truth, rather than truth as the authority.
But what is the "truth"? For most it is an illusion they can bear to
live with.
