Merle, I guess it is possible to slip and slide along the path, but I don't think so much as to go from nearly there back to the beginning. It's more likely that you just think you're nearly there and then realize you've gone no where at all.
The 10 Ox Herding Pictures are meant to depict a linear progression from the beginning to the 'end', the 'end' being full enlightenment. These pictures are not meant to depict a circle or re-occurring seris of events. ...Bill! --- In [email protected], Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > > > Â bill!.. > > excellent.. > > however is it not possible to slip and slide along the path... one time > nearly there and next time only just beginning?.. > > > Â is not the beginning the end and the end the beginning and all in the > middle of beginning and end the sum total of the path that in many ways is no > path at all only an illusion that there is a path and an illusion that there > is a beginning and an end and 10 ox herding pictures?...
