that was due to a bug of mine, sorry. The public key is not supposed
to be required.

Hi all,
as has been discussed on and off a bit, it would be nice to move to
JSON for storing the MyPaint brushes. This should make easier for
alternative brush engine implementations (like the Javascript + HTML5
one) to reuse the brushes.
In addition I propose to move load/save into libmypaint
help, and I will make sure to send you the end
paper if that is what you wish.

As a better long term solution, it would be nice to use libora for
this. It can already render a document to a pixelbuffer, so the only
addition needed is to save that buffer to a PNG (there is some sample
code for this in the oratool.c file). Patches would be very welcomed

brushsets it would be very nice if they also had a
nice, consistent look for the icons. That is one of the reasons why we
are interested in having a brushset maintainer.

proposing we do a beta release at the same time we have the
string freeze. That way we will get significantly more testing before
RC and final release. Hopefully also by Windows users, which is
perhaps the most important.
Bakhtiar, can you do a Windows build sometime around then?
